Four-seat stroller wagons are built for large families, carpools and childcare. They carry more, and they are bigger and heavier than two-seat models in every way. The question is rarely “is it big enough?” and more often “can I get it through the door and into the car?”
What to check before you buy
- Wagon weight. Four-seat wagons in our reviews run from roughly 52 to 63 lbs. Think about lifting it alone.
- Width. The WonderFold W4 Luxe review lists a width of 29 inches; measure the doorways you use.
- Trunk fit. The same review says trunk fit is very tight and that the wagon is designed for minivans and SUVs.
- Capacity. Check the total limit and the limit per seat or per bench, not only the seat count.
- Seating layout. Some four-seat models have two benches, others offer several configurations or removable seats.
