Children’s Wagon Safety Disclaimer
Children’s wagons and stroller wagons should always be used according to the manufacturer’s age, weight, seat, harness, brake, and terrain instructions.
This site provides general buying-guide information. It does not replace manufacturer guidance, pediatric advice, or professional safety guidance.
Universal rules
- Never leave a child unattended in a wagon, even with the brake engaged.
- Use harnesses every ride, on every seat that has one.
- Do not let children stand or climb in a wagon while it is moving.
- Do not exceed the manufacturer’s per-seat or total weight limits — including children plus gear.
- Do not use a utility wagon for child transport unless the manufacturer specifically states it is designed for that purpose.
- Test the parking brake on flat ground before relying on it on a slope or in a crowd.
- Mind hot surfaces (fabric, metal, plastic) on hot days.
- Keep hands away from folding hinges when collapsing or opening the wagon.
- Check official manufacturer and CPSC recall pages regularly.
