Strictly necessary

• WordPress session and login cookies (only set if you log in to the site).
• Comment author cookies (only set if you submit a comment).
• A small number of UI state flags (e.g. dismissing the sticky CTA for the current session).

Analytics

If we run aggregate analytics, we use privacy-friendly tools that do not build cross-site profiles of individual readers.

Family-planning tools

Our outing log, tracker, planner, and map planner use the browser’s localStorage — not cookies — to keep your entries on your device. Clearing your browser’s site data deletes those entries.

Third-party links

When you click an Amazon affiliate link, Amazon sets its own cookies subject to their privacy policy. We have no access to those cookies.
